尺子，又称尺、间尺，是用来测量长度的工具，其中以直尺最为常见，可以用来绘制线段。[1]在尺规作图中，尺被视为可画无穷长的直线的工具。尺上通常有刻度用来读数。有些尺更在中间留有特殊形状如字母或圆形的洞，方便用者画图。
通常，该仪器是刚性的；有些尺子，例如卷尺，是非刚性的。存在具有可保持选定形状的柔性边缘的特殊尺，它们可用于缝纫、艺术和工艺品。
