iPhone 5c是苹果公司于2013年9月10日发表的新一代智能手机，宣传口号为“生来多彩（For the colourful）”。

苹果历代都会贩售过季机型作为低配选择，但iPhone 5与前代产品不同，iPhone 5c发表后iPhone 5马上停产，且价格和规格也与iPhone 5相近，因而被认为是iPhone 5的继任者，被指是是最失败的iPhone[1]。iPhone 5c继iPhone 3GS之后再度使用聚碳酸酯作为外壳材质，并首次在iPhone产品中引入多种颜色，同时推出的专用保护壳亦有多种颜色可选。[2][3][4]

iPhone 5c及iPhone 5s在开售后首三日共录得九百万破纪录销量[5]。

  • 首次引入了彩色的聚碳酸酯外壳，与同时推出的彩色硅胶保护壳可搭配出超过三十种不同的色彩组合，不过前面板均为黑色。苹果公司 还设计了一个钢制框架来保证机身强度，同时充当天线之用。
  • 内置电池容量较 iPhone 5 的 1440 mAh 略有提升，达到了 1510 mAh，不过在 Apple 公布的实际使用时间中并没有明显改进[6]。
  • 初始操作系统为 iOS 7。
  • 重量比 iPhone 5 的 112 g (4.0 o.z) 稍重，为 132 g (4.65 o.z)，
  • 与 iPhone 5s 一样将中国大陆列与首批发售的地区中，中华民国（台湾）则于第二批10月25日正式发售。
