iPad Air 2（在2017款iPad推出之前，第一代iPad Air有“iPad 5”之俗称，故本代亦有“iPad 6”之俗称）是由美国苹果公司设计、开发及销售的第二代iPad Air平板电脑。它于2014年10月16日于美国加州旧金山发布，与iPad Mini 3同时发布，并于2014年10月22日发布。iPad Air 2比其前身iPad Air更薄更快，并具有Touch ID，其高度和萤幕尺寸与iPad Air相同。标榜更轻薄的设计、指纹辨识、A8X高效处理器、八百万像素后置相机镜头。

2017年3月21日，iPad Air 2终止销售，Air系列也停止贩售。但iPad Air 2可以透过第三方购物商店去购买。其后续产品即iPad 2017于当日宣布。2021年，苹果公司在线上WWDC发布了iPadOS 15，iPad Air 2被列入在支援设备清单中，这使iPad Air 2成为目前为止横跨最多总共8个版本操作系统的iPad (iOS 8至iPadOS 15)，也是目前为止横跨最多OS版本的iOS设备。

iPad Air 2 在 2014 年 10 月 16 日的主题演讲中发布，是第一款配备Touch ID 的iPad 。主题演讲的主题是“时间太长了”。 Air 2 于 2014 年 10 月 22 日开始进入零售店。该设备的口号是Change Is in the Air。随着新iPad Pro的发布，该设备的标语改为Light。重量级。
