第四代iPad（正式名称为配备Retina显示屏的iPad，英语：iPad with Retina display，而iPad 4为俗称）[1]是苹果公司在2012年10月23日于美国加州圣荷西发布的9.7吋显示屏平板电脑，取代同年3月7日所发布、同样配备Retina显示屏的第三代iPad。

2013年10月22日，苹果公司发布配备Retina显示屏的iPad mini与iPad Air，原先配备Retina显示屏的第四代iPad因而调整售价，不再提供32GB、64GB或128GB规格。

2014年3月，另在若干地区持续提供16GB机型作为“入门机”[2][3]。直到2014年10月16日确定停售。[4]

由于本机是32位，苹果公司在iOS 10.3.4版本不再支持第四代ipad。

2022年2月15日，苹果正式宣布将iPad 4加入停产名单。

发售[编辑]

iPad第四代于2012年11月2日起开始出货，配备16GB、32GB或64GB的容量，起先仅供应WIFI型，两周后再由美国开始供应WiFi+LTE型。[5]2013年2月5日，苹果发售了配备128GB容量的新款第四代iPad。

硬件[编辑]

配备Retina显示器的iPad采用9.7英寸、2,048×1,536分辨率显示屏幕，500万像素后置iSight镜头，120万像素前置FaceTimeHD镜头，采用与iPhone 5所用的Apple A6相似、具有双中央处理器核心及四绘图核心的Apple A6X处理器；并且采用与iPhone 5及iPad mini相同的Lightning连接线作为充电或者资料发送。
