Microsoft Surface 是微软设计与销售的个人电脑设备系列，包括二合一笔记本、平板电脑、笔记本电脑、一体机、手机及耳机。Surface首次发布时有两个版本，分别为 Surface RT 系列与 Surface Pro 系列：前者搭载 Windows RT 系统，使用Nvidia处理器；后者搭载完整的Windows 8系统，使用 Intel 处理器；两个版本皆能自 Windows Store 安装应用程序，但仅有 Pro 型 Surface 能够执行 PC 版 Windows 上的软件。[4]
Surface系列产品由微软首席执行官史蒂夫·鲍尔默在2012年6月18日于洛杉矶举行的记者会上公开。同年2012年10月26日推出。[5] 接下来，微软于2013年9月23日发表 Surface Pro 2 及 Surface 2 ，同年10月22日上市。但在2014年6月10日发表会上只有公布 Surface Pro 3 ，同年8月28日上市。
在2015年3月31日微软发表了 Surface 2 后继机 Surface 3 ，并搭载 Intel 的 Atom 处理器及安装使用 PC 版 Windows ，于同年5月5日上市。象征搭载 Windows RT 系统的 Surface 止于 Surface 2。
2015年6月之后， Surface 及 Surface Pro 系列均安装 PC 版 Windows（8.1或10） 家用或专业版，走向入门及高级版。
Surface系列[编辑]

2012年6月，微软推出了执行Windows 8 RT的Surface RT。
- Surface 2
2013年9月，微软推出了Surface 2，执行Windows RT 8.1。照理该产品应命名为Surface RT 2，但微软为了摆脱第一代Surface RT的不良口碑，将其命名为Surface 2。

2015年3月31日，微软发表第三代的Surface，放弃了原先的Windows RT 8.1，改为采用与PC平台相同的Windows 8.1和Windows 10。
Surface Pro系列[编辑]

2013年2月，微软推出了运行Windows 8 Pro的Surface Pro。
第一代Surface Pro配备了10.6" ClearType全高清屏幕，4GB存储器，64GB或128GB固态硬盘。比起Surface 第一代，USB接口由2.0升级到3.0。

2013年10月，微软推出了Surface Pro 2，运行Windows 8.1 Pro，处理器升级到Intel第四代Core i5，4GB或8GB存储器，提供64/128/256/512GB固态硬盘选择。
- Surface Pro 3
2014年5月，微软推出了Surface Pro 3，配备12吋2160x1440屏幕，处理器提采用Intel Core i3/i5/i7。Surface Pro 3采用新的电源界面。
Surface Pro在中国大陆另有两个版本，Surface专业版和Surface中文版，区别在于预载的Windows和Office版本。
Surface专业版预装Windows 8专业版及Office 365家庭高级版一个月试用。
Surface中国版预装Windows 8简体中文版，无法更改为其他语言，及Office 2013家庭和学生版。[6]但是由于中国政策的限制，中国版Surface无法通过TPM使用BitLocker加密数据。[7]

2015年10月，微软推出了Surface Pro 4，配备12.3吋2736 x 1824屏幕，处理器提采用第6代Intel Core M3/i5/i7。同时推出了新的Surface Pen及重新设计的配备指纹识别模块的Type cover。

Surface Book 是一款可变形的笔记本电脑，最大的亮点在于其屏幕部分可配合Surface Pen作为独立的平板电脑与机身份离，亦可反向插拔；同时，键盘底座中可以选配独立显卡，支持与电脑主体的热插拔。

2018年7月10日，微软公布了Surface系列新成员Surface GO。主打中低端市场。
Surface Go采用10英寸屏幕，保持3:2的显示比例。相应的Type cover也变小。处理器使用的是英特尔 Pentium Gold 4415Y 双核处理器，可以选用4或8GB的内存，而存储容量也有从64G到256G等多种选项，唯注意64G版本使用的是eMMC闪存而非其他容量版本所使用的NVMe固态硬盘。新增USB Type-C接口，支持Surface Pen等系列配件。[9]

Surface 附件[编辑]
除了 Surface 主机以外，微软亦提供了一系列附件，以充分发挥 Surface 的功能。需要注意的是，下列 Surface 配件除了笔以外均为单独销售，并非 Surface 随机附赠的产品。
键盘保护盖[编辑]
微软在 Surface 发布开始，便提供了触控键盘和实体键盘两种保护盖；二者均通过磁力吸附连接到 Surface 底部键盘接口，并可以折叠；而在打开时，保护盖可以作为键盘使用。触控键盘保护盖较薄，支持手势操作，厚度为3毫米，并有五种颜色。实体键盘保护盖较厚，能够提供普通机械式键盘的操作体验，厚度为5毫米。其内部配有陀螺仪和加速度计传感器，以侦察用户使用情况，避免翻到背后时误触键盘。[24]
随着 Surface 系列的发展，键盘盖也适应 Surface 主机屏幕大小的变化而推出了多种新版本，并增加了新的欧缔兰材质（银灰色版）。
鼠标[编辑]
微软将其旗下的 Surface Arc 蓝牙鼠标作为 Surface 的推荐鼠标配件。该鼠标采用了柔性设计，弯曲即可工作，在平展时则关闭电源。

微软推出了数种适应不同型号 Surface 的外接扩展坞，以解决 Surface 自身有线网络接口缺失的问题，并且可以进一步扩增其 USB 接口。
Surface 手写笔[编辑]
- 白金色、 黑色、 酒红色、 钴蓝色
每一代 Surface 均配备了专门的笔配件，它也是唯一的随机附赠的 Surface 附件（ 2017 年发布的 Surface Book 2 和 Surface Laptop 不附赠笔）。笔使用一节 AAAA 电池（6号）和一颗微型电子驱动，依靠蓝牙连接到 Surface 。其笔尖可以作为触控设备、墨迹设备等使用，笔侧端和尾端各有一个按键，侧端按键可以作为鼠标右键使用，尾端按键可以自定义单击、双击及三击的响应操作。此外，在墨迹书写时亦可以倒转笔，将尾端作为橡皮擦使用。
Surface Dial[编辑]
微软在发布 Surface Studio 时一同推出了 Surface Dial 附件，它是一个小型圆柱状的新硬件，具有触摸响应功能，可以吸附在屏幕上进行操作。

由于 iPad 和 Android 等平板电脑的崛起及竞争，微软打破了其37年仅依靠电脑厂商制造硬件并配套安装“Windows”操作系统而不生产全套电脑硬件的历史，推出Surface平板电脑。微软的官方回应是“就如20多年前推出微软鼠标一样，在市场最需要微软产品的时侯，推出自有品牌。”但这意味着微软与惠普等公司可能由原本亲密的硬件伙伴变成竞争对手。
微软同时也开发 Windows Store。Windows RT 用户只能透过 Windows Store 安装付费或免费软件，有助打造软件生态圈，使之成为微软另一项收入来源。[25]当前，Windows RT 系列已经终结，而微软亦尝试将 Windows Store 打造成包含传统 Win32 应用的分发平台，而不仅仅是 XAP 或 UWP 应用。例如，新发布的 Surface Laptop 搭载 Windows 10 S 系统，便只能够安装应用商店应用，但与初代 RT 系列 Surface 不同的是， Win32 应用亦可以安装在 Windows 10 S 上，只要该应用在 Windows Store 上架。
