ID3（分化抑制因子3，Inhibitor of Differentiation 3），正式名称为“inhibitor of DNA binding 3, HLH protein”（DNA结合抑制因子3，HLH（螺旋-环-螺旋）蛋白）。人ID3蛋白由ID3基因编码[1][2]。
功能[编辑]
分化抑制因子（ID）家族螺旋-环-螺旋（HLH）蛋白质缺乏基因的DNA结合结构域。它通过与其他的HLH蛋白形成异二聚体，阻止其与DNA结合，进而抑制其功能[2]。
相互作用[编辑]
ID3的抑制剂[编辑]
BTG2能与ID3基因的启动子结合，进而抑制其ID3基因的活性。如果敲除海马的BTG2基因的话，海马ID3表达就会上调，进而使其神经元无法发生末端分化[5]。
