CCAAT/增强子结合蛋白δ,简称C/EBP-δCEBPD,化学式为:C1239H1960O378N374S6 [1],是一种在人类中由CEBPD基因编码的蛋白质[2][3]

功能[编辑]

由这种无内含子基因编码的蛋白质是一种bZIP转录因子,它可以作为同源二聚体与某些DNA调节区结合。它还可以与相关蛋白C/EBP-α形成异二聚体。编码的蛋白质在调节参与免疫炎症反应的基因中很重要,并且可能参与调节与巨噬细胞激活和/或分化相关的基因。[4]

CEBPD参与细胞凋亡细胞增殖的调节。它可能充当肿瘤抑制因子[5]

一项针对小鼠的研究表明,CEBPD在慢性阻塞性肾病进展过程中可防止肾小管损伤和肾小管间质纤维化的发展。[6]

CEBPD基因的功能可以通过基于独立验证的siRNA敲低来有效检查。[7]
