西拉语(也称西达语[3])是一种在老挝和越南由约2,000人使用的彝语(Bradley 1997)。西拉族在越南被承认为一个单独的民族。
分布[编辑]
据Edmondson(2002)，越南约有700名西拉族人生活在下列3个村庄。
- 莱州省干胡社刟海
据老年西拉人，7个西拉家族在175年前从老挝丰沙里省芒坞和芒叶迁来。他们最初抵达一处叫芒松的地方，到现居地前又经历了数次搬迁。

- 琅南塔省南塔县班班西达(自称：vɛ33 ɲɯ33)
- 约乌县洲回村；丰沙里省本讷县丰蔡村(自称：go55ɯ55 a11ma11)(Kingsada 1999)[5]
- 约乌县龙唐村；琅南塔省琅南塔县西达村(自称：si33 la33) (Shintani 2001)[6]
