Guvcview (GTK+ UVC Viewer) 是一个网络摄影机应用程序，即是 Linux 桌面环境专用处理 UVC 流的软件，由 Paulo Assis 于 2008 年启动。 此应用程序是用 C 所开发的[1][2] 而且是在 GPL-2.0 或更高版本下发布的免费和开放原始程式码软件。
Guvcview 相容于所有 V4L2 网络摄影设备，使用 Linux UVC 驱动程式并基于 luvcview 进行影像渲染。 声音支援使用 PortAudio 开放原始程式码工具库。 该应用程序的图形界面使用 GTK+ 构建。[3][4][5][6]
与其他网络摄影机应用程序（例如 GNOME 标准网络摄影机应用程序的 Cheese）相比，该应用程序使用的资源更少，也是其他网络摄影机应用程序（包括 Apple Photo Booth 和 KDE Kamoso）的替代品。[2][7]

Guvcview在正常使用的情况下是使用的是双视窗界面。 一个视窗显示要记录的摄影机图形，另一个视窗显示设定和控制以及选单。[8]
透过 Linux UVC 驱动程式，Guvcview 提供了扩充套件，包括在 UVC 规范中的特定于供应商的套件，这些套件被动态载入到驱动程式中。目前，只有网络摄影机制造商罗技为其 UVC 网络摄影机扩充套件提供了规范，因此罗技摄影机扩充套件也包括在内。[3]
从 0.9.9 版本开始，Guvcview 可以只在控制视窗模式下执行，并用于控制其他应用程序上的图形，包括 Ekiga、Cheese、mplayer 和 Skype。[3]
静止影像可以被录制为 .bmp、.jpg、.png、.raw 和 .avi、.mkv（Matroska 多媒体容器开放标准格式）和 Google 的 .webm 开放标准格式的影像。[1][7]
影像撷取模式包括一些基本的特殊效果。它们是：镜像、反转、负片、单色、片段 和粒子，可以通过选择多个来组合。[1][7]
操作系统[编辑]
Guvcview 已在 Debian 中用于许多指令集，[9] 自 2012 年 Ubuntu 13.10 以来的 Ubuntu 存储库中。[5][10] 在 18.10 版本之前，它是附在 Lubuntu 里面的预设网络摄影机应用程序。[11][12]
Guvcview 也可用于 Debian 和 Puppy Linux 存储库。[13][14]
