Eucoccidiida[1]

真球虫目（学名：Eucoccidiorida），是顶复门类锥体纲球虫亚纲之下的一个目[1][2]，是一种单细胞的微小成胞的寄生物种。本目的原生物种可寄生在人体、家畜、家禽及野生动物的体内。当中包括有可引起弓虫病的弓形虫及可引起等孢球虫病的贝氏等孢球虫（Isospora belli）。

本目的分类比较复杂，现时我们仍只有片面的认识。当中大致可以分为两个大分支，分别为[3]：

当中，等孢球虫属跟弓形虫属及新孢球虫属比跟肉孢子虫属较为接近[6]。
