《Century Child》（世纪之子）是芬兰交响金属乐团夜愿的第四张录音室专辑，其由Spinefarm Records发行于2002年。这是现贝斯手和男主唱Marco Hietala第一张参与的专辑。
这张专辑是明显的改变了以前的Nightwish作品抒情于注重音乐性的风格。相对于轻快的《Oceanborn》和《Wishmaster》，专辑总体的音乐策划显得慢而低沉，更注重氛围和旋律倾向。其包含管弦乐背衬、一个空灵的作品、塔雅·图伦尼的温和而带有少量歌剧风格的声音，以及Marco的歌声，如《Ever Dream》、《Slaying the Dreamer》、《Dead to the World》、《Feel for You》和《The Phantom of the Opera》；此外歌词有描绘强烈概念专辑的潜在倾向。这也可以认为夜愿的最低沉的专辑之一。专辑收到了强烈的正面评价。《Century Child》也是吉他手Emppu Vuorinen为配合Hietala的D调贝斯而将吉他调为D调的第一张专辑。
Spinefarm Records在2002年发型了专辑的2-CD特别版。其中包含了CD，带有乐队成员签名的艺术线条，一个收录他们翻唱Gary Moore歌曲《Over the Hills and Far Away》的音乐影片的VCD。此外，一个包含ID代码的小册子允许所有者在有限的时间内从互联网下载整个专辑和三个附加曲目。附加曲目包括《Nightwish》、《The Forever Moments》和《Etiäinen》，他们全都来自乐队1996年的首个样本专辑。
专辑超过60,000套的销量获得了芬兰的双白金认证，专辑也是2002年芬兰销量第二高的芬兰专辑。《Century Child》在芬兰售出超过90,000套[1]。在全球，专辑在2002年和2003年间售出超过35万套。
