鹭属（学名：Ardea，台湾作苍鹭属），是鸟纲鹈形目鹭科中的一个属。[2]本属目前下属14个物种，分布于除南极外的各地区中。[2]
命名历史[编辑]
本属由瑞典博物学家卡尔·林奈于其1758年的《自然系统》第十版中描述。[3]其模式种由英国动物学家乔治·罗伯特·格雷于1840年指定为苍鹭。[1][4]其属名Ardea来自同字拉丁语，指的就是鹭。[5]
