牛鸟（学名Bullockornis planei）是一种已灭绝的不会飞的鸟。它们生存于1500万年前中新世中期的澳洲。
特征[编辑]
牛鸟站立时高2.5米，可能重250公斤。它们有非常大的喙，适合撕开东西，故它们可能是肉食性的。头颅骨比细小的马还要大。[1]很多古生物学家都相信它们与鹅有关。
