批评（英语：criticize），一般是强调指出事物的负面或是缺点，从而作为改善事物的提议[1]，不过有时批评可能指普通的评论而非负面评论，或者仅指出缺点而不提出改善建议[2]。接受批评可以帮助我们认出错误，并从中得到益处。它可以是即时的反应，亦可以是书面的陈述。
