FlashGot 是為 Mozilla Firefox 和基於Mozilla Application Suite的網頁瀏覽器所開發的擴充功能 ("Extensions"，現稱為 "Add-on's")，是基於GPL發佈的自由軟件 (Freeware)，擁有四十多種各國語言版本。此附加元件（擴充功能）的作者 Giorgio Maone 亦開發了另一款熱門的 Firefox 附加元件 : NoScript。

FlashGot 允許 Firefox 等瀏覽器使用大多數流行的外部下載管理器處理單一的和全部("全部" 和 "選擇")下載，支援 Windows, Mac OS X, Linux 和 FreeBSD 系統。安裝它之後，就可以在 Mozilla Firefox 中像 Internet Explorer 一樣在下載連結(URL)上使用右鍵選單呼叫下載軟件進行下載。

需要注意的是，由於名稱上的相近，FlashGot 和 FlashGet 很容易使用戶發生混淆，實際上 FlashGet 是一個下載工具，而 FlashGot 則是在瀏覽器和下載工具傳遞URL參數的「中間程式」，其本身並不具備下載能力。
