法寻

法寻或图瓦兹（法语：toise，发音：[twaz] <phonos wikibase="" file="LL-Q150 (fra)-Lyokoï-toise.wav"></phonos>）是法国大革命前的传统法国计量单位中的长度、面积和容积计量单位。早期北美法兰西建立的新法兰西，法属路易斯安那和魁北克殖民地也使用这个计量单位。葡萄牙、巴西和葡萄牙帝国也使用相关联的“toesa”（葡萄牙语发音：[tuˈezɐ]）计量单位。

长度单位[编辑]
- 1812年以前，1法寻等于6法尺（pied），约等于1.949米。
- 1812年—1840年，1法寻等于2米（metre，拿破仑一世制订单位）。
- 在瑞士，1法寻等于1.8米。
- 在葡萄牙，1“toesa”等于等于6葡尺（pé），约等于1.98米。
根据一篇在1866年撰写调查比较各国的长度单位的论文，确认1法寻等于1,949.03632毫米。[1]

- 1799年12月10日之前，1平方法寻约等于3.799平方米。
容积单位[编辑]
- 1法寻（容积）约等于8立方米（二十世纪海地）。
