诱惑合唱团（英语：The Temptations）是美国合唱组合，他们自1960年代至1970年代在摩城唱片旗下发行了许多成功的歌曲。他们从1968年10月的十大热门单曲〈Cloud Nine〉开始与制作人诺曼·怀特菲尔德合作，开创了迷幻灵魂风格，并在节奏蓝调和灵魂乐的演变中发挥了重要作用。[1]组合成员以其舞蹈编排、独特的和声和服装风格而闻名。有着数千万张专辑的销售纪录，诱惑合唱团可说是流行音乐中最为成功的组合之一。[2][3][4]
诱惑合唱团是由五名男歌手兼舞者组成（除了部分时期内成员更少或更多），于1960年在密歇根州底特律成立，一开始名为The Elgins。组合的创始成员来自于底特律两个互为竞争对手的合唱组合：Otis Williams & the Distants的奥提斯·威廉斯、“艾尔”艾尔布里奇·布莱恩特、梅尔文·富兰克林以及the Primes的艾迪·肯德里克斯、保罗·威廉斯。1964年，布莱恩特被大卫·鲁芬取代，鲁芬也成为组合许多热门歌曲包括〈My Girl〉（1964年）、〈Ain't Too Proud to Beg〉（1966年）、〈I Wish It Would Rain〉（1967年）等的主唱。鲁芬于1968年由丹尼斯·爱德华取代，而组合继续创下诸如〈Cloud Nine〉（1969年）、〈Ball of Confusion (That's What the World Is Today)〉（1970年）等热门唱片。自从肯德里克斯和保罗·威廉斯于1971年离开组合后，其阵容经常发生变化。组合的后来成员包括理查德·史崔特、戴蒙·哈里斯、罗恩·泰森和阿里-奥利·伍德森以1984年的歌曲〈Treat Her Like a Lady〉获得了组合最后的商业成功。

虽然诱惑合唱团的成员阵容变动频繁，但其雇人以及成员角色担任一直遵照着以下原则：
- 第一主唱（如大卫·鲁芬以及丹尼斯·爱德华）
- 第二主唱（如保罗·威廉斯）
- 首席男高音主唱（如艾迪·肯德里克斯）
- 男低音主唱（如梅尔文·富兰克林）
- 男中音/男高音背景和声歌手，部分担任主唱（自1961年奥提斯·威廉斯一直并继续担任此一角色）
在他们的现场表演中，以几乎假声合唱和担任次要主唱的首席男高音在舞台上一直是组合的官方主要领导。此外，首席男高音也在录音室录音中有着首要地位；从1968年到1972年以及从1993年开始，第二主唱在录音室中被提升到几乎相同的状态。
背景和声/部分担任主唱在1961年以前是的担任另一位次要主唱。
组合在大多时间皆是以和声五重奏呈现，但有五个时期例外：
- The Cavaliers的阵容（1955–1957，4名成员）
- The Primes的阵容（1958–1960，4名成员，后期则剩3名）
- 1971年的4月至5月 (4名成员，没有首席男高音)
- 1982年的复出 (7名成员)
- 1995年后半，从雷·戴维士退出后 (4名成员，没有男低音)
自1976年以来，诱惑合唱团之名的注册商标是由奥提斯·威廉斯和梅尔文·富兰克林共同拥有。[7][8]
