《独立报》（英语：The Independent）是由Tony O'Reilly出版的一份英国报纸。和保守派的泰晤士报及中间偏左的卫报相比，算是比较政治立场性质中间派的报纸[原创研究？]。

2009年《独立报》的发行量下跌7.2%，只发行了18.6557万份，亏损1240万英镑。
2010年3月27日前苏联KGB情报员列别杰夫（Alexander Lebedev）旗下公司独立印刷有限公司（IPL），以象征性的1英镑买下英国《独立报》及《周日独立报》。
2016年2月12日，独立报在官网发表声明，其最后一刊印刷版将在同年3月26日发行，之后独立报将转为纯线上新闻网站，不再发行实体版，独立报将被卖给约翰斯顿出版社（Johnston Press），并将裁员一部分员工[1]。
