中华鳑鲏（学名：Rhodeus sinensis）为辐鳍鱼纲鲤形目鱊科鳑鲏属的其中一种[2]，古名鮬[3]。分布于亚洲俄罗斯阿穆尔河至中国南部淡水流域，曾由H.W. Wu在1931年命名为Pseudoperilampus lighti，是为了纪念加州大学柏克莱分校的动物学家S. F. Light（1886-1947)[4][5]。本鱼体呈卵圆形且侧扁，眼睛直径比嘴长一点，鱼鳞呈圆形，体上部鳞缘有黑点，侧线不完整，体长可达10.8公分，栖息在底中层水域，雌鱼会在将卵产在蚌壳内，幼鱼孵化后，会留在贝壳中直到能独立游泳，生活习性不明。
