美国赤松[2]（学名：Pinus resinosa）[3]:66[4]或称红松、赤松（英语：Red pine）为一种原产于北美洲的松科松属植物。[3]
描述[编辑]
美国赤松是一种常绿针叶树，其特征是生长高大、笔直[5]。 它的高度通常为20—35米（66—115英尺），树干直径为1米（3英尺3英寸），特别高达43.77米（1431⁄2英尺）[6]。 冠部呈圆锥形，随着年龄的增长，逐渐变成狭窄的圆形圆顶。 树基部的树皮较厚，呈灰棕色，但上部树冠的树皮较薄，片状，鲜橙红色； 这棵树的名字来自于这种独特的特性。
