BtKY72病毒（BtKY72/Rhinolophus sp./Kenya/2007）是严重急性呼吸道综合征相关冠状病毒（SARSr-CoV）的一个病毒株，在肯亚菊头蝠属蝙蝠的粪便样本中发现，其基因组已被完整定序，于2019年发表。
病毒学[编辑]
BtKY72病毒的基因组长29259nt，基因顺序为复制酶（ORF1a/b）－刺突蛋白（S）－ORF3a－外膜蛋白（E）－膜蛋白（M）－ORF6－ORF7a－ORF7b－衣壳蛋白（N），相较于SARS病毒和多数蝙蝠SARS相关病毒，此病毒缺乏ORF3b与ORF8[1]。在SARSr-CoV中，此病毒与2010年发表、在保加利亚发现的BM48-31病毒关系最接近，两者基因组序列相似度为81%，BM48-31病毒亦不具有ORF8[1][2]。
分类[编辑]
种系发生学研究结果显示BtKY72病毒与BM48-31病毒组成的演化支是SARSr-CoV演化树的基群，此演化支与其他SARSr-CoV分家早于SARS-CoV和SARS-CoV-2分家的时间[3][4]。
