      Wire是一款由Wire Swiss開發的端到端加密通信和協作應用。它適用於IOS、Android、Microsoft Windows、MacOS、Linux以及Firefox瀏覽器等網絡瀏覽器[6]。

      歷史[編輯]

      Skype的聯合創始人Janus Friis幫助創建了Wire，Wire創建之時受到了Skype的聯合創始人Janus Friis的協助[7]，許多Wire員工此前也曾在Skype工作。Wire Swiss GmbH於2014年12月3日推出了Wire應用。2015年8月，該公司在其應用中增加了群組通話功能[8]。在2016年3月之前，Wire的消息只在客戶端和公司伺服器之間加密。2016年3月，該公司增加了端到端加密以及視頻通話功能[9][10]。2016年7月，Wire Swiss GmbH公開了Wire客戶端應用的原始碼[11][12][13]。

      中國大陸封鎖[編輯]

      依據GreatFire測試，其網站在中國大陸被當局的網墻封鎖，即當地網民無法正常訪問該網站，2018年2月或更早起持續遭受封鎖至今。[14][15]
