Windows IoT, 曾經叫做Windows Embedded，是微軟的嵌入式系列產品家族，微軟在開始發行Windows 10嵌入式版本時將"Windows Embedded"更名為"Windows IoT"，包括四大系列：
Windows Embedded Standard[編輯]
即Windows Embedded Standard 7、Windows XP Embedded及Windows NT 4.0 Embedded。
Windows Embedded Compact[編輯]
即原來的Windows CE。
Windows For Embedded Systems[編輯]
包含微軟桌面系統全功能的嵌入式作業系統，其中有Windows XP Professional for Embedded Systems、Windows Vista Business for Embedded Systems、Windows Vista Ultimate for Embedded Systems以及未來發佈的Windows 7 Ultimate for Embedded Systems等。
Windows Embedded POSReady[編輯]
是微軟專為開發POS（Point of Service）解決方案的OEM廠商以及使用POS設備的企業提供的一款嵌入式作業系統。
