tcsh（英語發音為/tiːˈsiːʃɛl/或腳本錯誤：沒有「IPA」這個模塊。）是一個向下兼容c shell的Unix shell。它本質上是為c shell增加命令補完，命令編輯等其他功能。 曾經作為FreeBSD和其延伸發行版的默認shell。
歷史[編輯]
tcsh中的「t」來自作業系統腳本錯誤：沒有「ilh」這個模塊。的「T」，1975年9月起，卡內基梅隆大學的Ken Greer受到TENEX的啟發開始編寫代碼，最終於1981年12月將其合併到C shell 中。
仙童人工智能實驗室的Mike Ellis於1983年9月添加了完善命令。1983年10月3日，Greer將原始碼發佈到net.sources新聞組。[2]
