索尼娛樂（Sony Entertainment）是一家成立於2012年的全球娛樂公司。經營索尼的大多數電影，電視和音樂業務。它是日本索尼集團公司的子公司，由索尼在美國的分部索尼美國管理。[1]

2012年3月30日，索尼影視娛樂的行政總裁麥可·林頓被任命為索尼美國分部的行政總裁，負責監督索尼的全球娛樂業務；並且索尼影視娛樂的執行副總裁兼法律顧問妮科爾·塞利格曼被任命為分部總裁。[2]2013年4月9日，林頓與公司續簽了合同。[3]
2016年2月28日，在索尼工作了15年的塞利格曼辭職，並於3月底離開公司。[4]
2017年1月13日，林頓宣佈辭去索尼娛樂的行政總裁，索尼影視娛樂的董事長兼行政總裁職務，成為Snap公司的董事長。[5][6]同年6月1日，托尼·文西奎拉接任他董事長兼行政總裁的位置。[7]
2016年12月，多家新聞媒體稱，索尼正考慮通過合併其電視和電影業務——索尼影視娛樂與其遊戲業務——索尼互動娛樂來重組其美國業務。據報道，這次重組將把索尼影視娛樂置於索尼互動娛樂的行政總裁安德魯·豪斯的領導之下，但是豪斯不會接管其日常運營。[8][9][10]據一份報告稱，索尼將在次年（2017年）3月財年結束時就其電視，電影和遊戲業務合併做出最終決定。[8]然而，從索尼在2017年的活動來看，傳聞中的合併從未實現。
2019年7月17日，索尼宣佈將合併索尼音樂娛樂公司和索尼/聯合電視音樂出版有限責任公司，組成索尼音樂集團，合併於2019年8月1日完成。[11]
2021年10月11日，索尼影視娛樂網絡印度公司（Sony Pictures Networks India）和印度Zee娛樂公司（Zee Entertainment Enterprises）合併成為印度最大的廣播電視企業。
