原鰓亞綱（學名：Protobranchia）是雙殼綱之下的一個亞綱[2]，下領三個有現生種的目和一個只有化石種的目。 這些深水的雙殼綱物種均為體型細小的原始物種。
型態描述[編輯]
原鰓亞綱動物都有一套相對較原始的鰓，而在殼的鉸有一排短小的鉸齒，而且殼內有珠母層[3]。
