    Plone是一種建立在Zope應用伺服器之上的開源內容管理系統。Plone是自由軟件並且設計為可延伸的。它可以使用於內網和外網伺服器，文件發佈系統，並且可以作為位置分享的實體協同運作軟件工具。

    其最早由Alan Runyan、Alexander Limi與Vidar Andersen在1999年開始，之後迅速成為流行而又強大的內容管理系統。

    Plone的名字來源於一個來自英國伯明翰，叫做Plone的電聲樂隊。

    Plone執行在Zope應用程式伺服器上，使用Python編寫。
