紅鸛屬（學名：Phoenicopterus，中國大陸作火烈鳥屬，台灣作紅鸛屬），是紅鸛目火烈鳥科下的一個屬。[2]現下屬三個物種，並還有數個化石物種。[2][3]
分類學[編輯]
該屬由瑞典生物學家卡爾·林奈於其《自然系統》第十版中建立該屬。[4][5]其屬名Phoenicopterus來自拉丁語的同樣辭彙，該詞源自希臘語的φοινικόπτερος（轉寫：phoinikopteros）。[6]模式種即為同時被林奈所命名的美洲紅鸛。[1]
