白腹鼠屬（Niviventer），哺乳綱、囓齒目、鼠科的一屬，而與白腹鼠屬（生存於臺灣的有高山白腹鼠和刺鼠）同科的動物尚有澳洲彈鼠屬（長尾彈鼠）、褐鼻鼠屬（褐鼻鼠）、地鼠屬（布恩地鼠）、短尾水鼠屬（短尾水鼠）等之數種哺乳動物。[1]本分類群之前曾被歸入大鼠屬（Rattus）、王鼠屬（Maxomys）。[2]
特徵[編輯]
本屬物種多數腹部為白色，尾巴長度超過了身體的長度，有很強的攀爬能力，主要生活在森林環境中。[3]
