Mac Pro是蘋果公司推出的高階桌上型電腦系列產品，搭載Apple晶片 M2 Ultra以及PCI Express匯流排架構。
概要[編輯]
蘋果電腦公司在2006年8月7日的全球研發者大會（WWDC）上發表了這台電腦。它是接替Power Macintosh的系列產品，與Xserve同為最後移至Intel x86平台的蘋果電腦產品系列[1]。其鋁製機殼與Power Mac G5的幾乎相同，但擴充了光碟機的插槽，以及前後重新排列設計的I/O連接埠。不像其他的麥金塔系列產品，Mac Pro並沒有內建可接收Apple Remote訊號的紅外線裝置。
以2006年的標準衡量，Mac Pro是高階機種，擁有兩個中央處理器（總共4顆核心）、4個硬碟位置以及8個記憶體（RAM）插槽。Mac Pro的主力規格應該是定在搭載2.66GHz處理器的中階機種。在過去，蘋果電腦公司常會使用「起始於…」（starting at）或「從…」（from）來說明基本電腦款式的價格，但是這次在蘋果電腦商店（Apple Store）中，價格的標示為「Mac Pro at $2,799」，這是中階規格的價格。但透過自行選擇Mac Pro的零件，最基本機種從$2299起跳，較為接近以往的雙核心G5機型的價錢，但是相對的也提供了更強大的運算能力。
Mac Pro的其中一項特色在於不需要任何工具即可拆開機殼進行擴充（螺絲起子僅是備用，以防萬一），而硬碟的安裝也是使用滑入的方式，同樣也不須任何工具。
蘋果已於2013年6月10日的WWDC上發表第二代的Mac Pro，外形與以往產品不同，呈黑色圓筒狀，並於同年12月開始銷售。[2]新一代Mac Pro採用AMD FirePro而不是NVIDIA Quadro是因為前者的OpenCL運算能力較佳，這項技術正是由蘋果公司開發。[3]這代Mac Pro主要由偉創力在美國德州奧斯丁的自動化生產線所組裝，為相隔十多年後重回美國組裝之蘋果公司電腦產品[4]。
2017年推出的iMac Pro屬台式一體機產品，並不屬於嚴格意義上的Mac Pro產品線。
2019年6月3日，蘋果在WWDC 2019大會上推出第三代的Mac Pro，採用了不同於上一代的矩形體塊設計，極度強調易拆卸和模塊化，正面和背面開設有大量令人印象深刻的散熱孔矩陣。該代機型最高支持28核英特爾Xeon處理器、1.5TB內存和4TB固態硬盤，並提供大量擴展接口。除了直立式版本，蘋果公司也推出可鎖在19吋標準機架、高度5U（22.225公分）的橫式版本，可做為伺服器或算圖農場等用途。
2023年6月5日，蘋果在WWDC 2023大會上宣佈第三代Mac Pro正式改為採用蘋果自研M2 Ultra處理器，同時英特爾處理器版本停產。[5]這次更新標誌着Mac向Apple晶片遷移正式全面完成。
2026年3月26日，蘋果正式宣佈停產Mac Pro，並表示未來不會再推出相關硬體產品。[6]
