Level 3通信（Level 3 Communcations）是一家總部位於美國科羅拉多州的跨國電信服務及網際網路服務提供商。[1]
Level 3在北美洲、拉丁美洲、歐洲及一些特定的亞洲城市為中、大型服務提供商提供 IP 網絡、語音通話及內容分發等服務。[2]Level 3 同時也是美國市場上最大的競爭性本地交換運營商（英文：Competitive Local Exchange Carrier）以及第三大的光纖網絡提供商（基於覆蓋地區而言）。
網絡[編輯]
Level 3運營了一個大型的網際網路。其服務範圍包括在美國大陸上的46個州[3][4] 南美洲，西歐，[1][5] 和一些亞洲城市。它使用包括AC-2在內的跨大西洋光纜，[6] [7] 該公司也在 Apollo 光纜上購買了 300 Gbit/s 的帶寬。[8]
該公司現在是自治編號 AS1的擁有者[9]（隨著它從BBN科技處收購Genuity )，但它實際使用自治編號 AS3356 作為運營用途。 截至2007年[update] AS3356 一直擁有網際網路上最好的聯通度。[10][11] 隨著在2011年的收購，該公司同時也運營Global Crossing network （自治編號 AS3549）。
Level 3為Netflix和蘋果公司分發音樂和視頻內容。[12] 該公司運營一個2006年從Savvis收購的內容分發網絡。[13]
2006年該公司宣布了建造新一代美國全國學術科研網絡Internet2的計劃。[14]
2016年10月31日，CenturyLink世紀互聯以26.5億美元的現金以及1.4286股的CenturyLink股票，每股收購價約66.5美元，斥資194.3億美元收購Level 3通信，若連同債務承擔，總收購價達340億美元。
