Microsoft Internet Explorer 4（简称IE4）是微软所开发的一套使用GUI的网页浏览器，它是Internet Explorer系列中的一部份。这个软体于1997年10月首次发行适用于Windows的版本。但之后也有发行过适用于Mac OS、Solaris、HP-UX等作业系统的版本。
该版本是第一次浏览器大战中很重要的一个指标。在这个版本中，Internet Explorer首次使用了Trident的排版引擎。而其市场占有率就在1999年3月的时候超越了60%，同月也被Internet Explorer 5取代了[1]。当2001年8月Internet Explorer 6发行的时候，版本4的市占率下降至7%，且Internet Explorer 5的市占率到达了80%[2]。至2004年为止，该版本的市占率已下降至1%[3]。
Internet Explorer 4的宣传口号是"The Web the Way You Want It!"（以自己想要的方式浏览网路！）[4]。现在微软官方网页已不提供该版本的下载了。
