Duo是Google開發的一款視訊電話手機應用，同時提供Android和iOS版。2016年5月18日，它在Google I/O大會上[2][3]與即時通訊應用Allo一同宣佈。Duo於8月16日在美國正式推出，並於幾天後拓展到全球。[4][1][5]Duo在推出2天後便爬升至Google Play免費應用榜單的第一名。[6]
2022年6月2日，Google宣佈Google Duo將併入Google Meet。[7]
功能[編輯]
這款應用具有如下功能：[8]
- 720p高清影片
- 為低速流動網絡最佳化。應用採用最佳化過的WebRTC標準，並使用QUIC協定傳輸數據。應用還會監視網絡質素，並在網絡情況不好時降低影片畫質。[2]
- 「Knock Knock」：Android獨享功能，可在接聽來電前顯示對方的即時預覽，[9]Google稱這會「使來電更像一種邀請，而不是干擾」[10]
- 預設的端到端加密
- Google Assistant支援
- 使用手機號碼，便於用戶與通訊錄裏的人通話
- 在WiFi和流動網絡間自動切換
