鈣蛋白酶9(英語:Calpain-9)是一種在人類中由CAPN9基因編碼的蛋白質。[1][2][3]
鈣蛋白酶是普遍存在的、保守的鈣依賴性半胱胺酸蛋白酶家族。鈣蛋白酶是由不變的小亞基和可變的大亞基組成的異二聚體。大亞基具有半胱胺酸蛋白酶結構域,而兩個亞基都具有鈣結合結構域。鈣蛋白酶與神經退行性過程有關,因為它們的活化可以由鈣流入和氧化應激觸發。由該基因編碼的蛋白質主要在胃和小腸中表現,並可能在消化道中具有特殊功能。該基因被認為與胃癌有關。該基因可編碼不同亞型的多個可變剪接轉錄物變體。[3]
