甘草次酸(glycyrrhetinic acid,或glycyrrhetic acid,也叫Enoxolone)是一種五環三萜物質,由草藥光果甘草的甘草酸水解得到故而得名。甘草次酸可以看作是β-香樹脂醇(齊墩果烷型)的衍生物,從而作為甘草酸的糖苷配基。甘草次酸常作為香料使用,也用來掩蓋蘆薈和奎寧等藥物的苦味。[1][2][3][4][5]
