2016年3月16日，韓國媒體《mydaily》報導CNBLUE將會在4月推出新作品[2]，隨後3月22日FNC娛樂公佈CNBLUE會在4月4日發行迷你專輯《BLUEMING》[3]。
3月30日，官方公開完整專輯曲目名單[4]；專輯歌曲試聽影片則於4月1日在官方YouTube頻道推出[5]；而主打曲《美好的你》音樂錄影帶在4月4日隨專輯音源公開[6]。
