      AsteroidOS是一個為智慧型手錶設計的開放原始碼作業系統。[3][4][5]它可作為一些Android Wear裝置韌體的替代品。[6]

      軟體架構[編輯]

      AsteroidOS使用OpenEmbedded構建一個嵌入式Linux發行版。[7]它以Linux核心和systemd服務管理器為基礎執行。[8]AsteroidOS也包含各種移動Linux中介軟體（如為Mer和Nemo Mobile開發的lipstick（頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館）和MCE（頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館））。[9]

      它的使用者介面完全使用Qt5框架編寫。[10]應用程式則以出自Qt Quick（英語：Qt Quick）和QML-Asteroid（頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館）的QML圖形組件編寫。可以從OpenEmbedded生成一個有交叉編譯工具鏈、整合到Qt Creator的SDK以便於開發。[11]

      Asteroid-launcher（頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館） is a Wayland compositor and customizable home screen managing applications, watchfaces, notifications and quick settings. Asteroid-launcher runs on top of the libhybris compatibility layer to make use of Bionic GPU驅動程式.[12]


      AsteroidOS offers Bluetooth Low Energy synchronization capabilities with the asteroid-btsyncd（頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館） daemon running on top of BlueZ5.[13] A reference client named AsteroidOS Sync（頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館） is available for Android users.[14]
