车[1][2]（Template:Langx）是国际象棋的棋子。车的走法和中国象棋的車相同。在棋谱上，“R”代表车。由于车这个棋子的外观像城堡，所以这个棋子曾经也被叫作“城堡”（Template:Langx）。[3][4]
车可以横走或直走，格数不限，不可斜走。吃子方式与走法相同。王和车有一种特殊的移动方式，称为“王车易位”。

在开局时，对弈双方分别有二个车。白方的车会在 a1 和 h1 的位置，黑方的车会在 a8 和 h8 的位置。
移动方式及策略[编辑]

车的活动力相当强，车的价值高于马和象（因此若可以用马或象兑到敌方的一个车，对我方很有利），二车的价值高于后。
开局时，常会将二个车和王维持在底线，将底线其他的棋子移出去，并设法进行王车易位。这种情形下，双车可以相互呼应。而且很容易移动到任何一列的底线。
车经常会放在开放线（没有兵占据的一列）或是非开放线（只有敌方兵占据的一列）的底线，车可以控制那列所有的位置，若该列非常重要，玩家会在车的前面再放一车，用二车控制该列。
若车移动到第七行（对方的第二行），可以攻击对方未移动过的兵，也可以限制王的行动。若有二只车在第七行，此局多半会赢，最差也会和棋。
在残局时，由于车的监控范围广，因此车是威力最大的棋子。不过若该列有兵正前进准备升变，除非车可以移到该列兵后面的位置，否则有时车反而会受到牵制。车也可以移到本身准备升变的兵后面，会是非常好的后盾。
