第一參數填入正確的元素類別，但由於是使用[[Template:元素週期表]]的[[WP:模板樣式]]，即[[Template:元素週期表/styles.css]]，因此還需要再-{引用}-頁面或模板加入<code>&#60;[[WP:模板樣式|templatestyles]] src="[[Template:元素週期表/styles.css|元素週期表/styles.css]]" /&#62;</code>標籤才能正常運作。<br />
