&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;GNA&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;全名&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Glycerol nucleic acid&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;，中文直譯&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;甘油核酸&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;。是一種與[[DNA]]或[[RNA]]相似的化學物質，但組成物有所不同。並不存在任何目前已知的自然界生物體內。&lt;br /&gt;

DNA和RNA分別以[[脫氧核糖]]和[[核糖]]為骨架，而GNA的骨架則由重複的[[乙二醇]](甘油)單元以[[磷酸二酯鍵]]連接而成。雖然甘油分子只有3個[[碳]]原子，但GNA仍然可比表現出[[碱基对|沃森-克-{里}-克鹼基配對]]（A對T；G對C），而且比起DNA與RNA，GNA的鹼基配對更為穩定，需要極高的融解溫度（&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Tm&amp;#039;&amp;#039;）才能解開。 GNA可能是最簡單的核酸，因此被認為是RNA的假想前驅物。{{citation needed|date=September 2024}}&lt;br /&gt;
