== Usage ==
Templates in the "Don't edit this line XXX" family are used to extract information from a taxonomy template (i.e. a template whose name is of the form "Template:Taxonomy/''taxon''"). They are invoked by calling a taxonomy template with {{para|machine code|XXX}}, since the first line of every taxonomy template begins

<strong>They are intended only for use by the automated taxobox system.</strong> They are mostly used from within [[Module:Autotaxobox]].
