Mac Pro是苹果公司推出的高阶台式电脑系列产品，搭载Apple芯片 M2 Ultra以及PCI Express总线架构。
概要[编辑]
苹果电脑公司在2006年8月7日的全球研发者大会（WWDC）上发表了这台电脑。它是接替Power Macintosh的系列产品，与Xserve同为最后移至Intel x86平台的苹果电脑产品系列[1]。其铝制机壳与Power Mac G5的几乎相同，但扩充了光驱的插槽，以及前后重新排列设计的I/O连接埠。不像其他的麦金塔系列产品，Mac Pro并没有内建可接收Apple Remote讯号的红外线装置。
以2006年的标准衡量，Mac Pro是高阶机种，拥有两个中央处理器（总共4颗核心）、4个硬盘位置以及8个记忆体（RAM）插槽。Mac Pro的主力规格应该是定在搭载2.66GHz处理器的中阶机种。在过去，苹果电脑公司常会使用“起始于…”（starting at）或“从…”（from）来说明基本电脑款式的价格，但是这次在苹果电脑商店（Apple Store）中，价格的标示为“Mac Pro at $2,799”，这是中阶规格的价格。但透过自行选择Mac Pro的零件，最基本机种从$2299起跳，较为接近以往的双核心G5机型的价钱，但是相对的也提供了更强大的运算能力。
Mac Pro的其中一项特色在于不需要任何工具即可拆开机壳进行扩充（螺丝起子仅是备用，以防万一），而硬盘的安装也是使用滑入的方式，同样也不须任何工具。
苹果已于2013年6月10日的WWDC上发表第二代的Mac Pro，外形与以往产品不同，呈黑色圆筒状，并于同年12月开始销售。[2]新一代Mac Pro采用AMD FirePro而不是NVIDIA Quadro是因为前者的OpenCL运算能力较佳，这项技术正是由苹果公司开发。[3]这代Mac Pro主要由伟创力在美国德州奥斯丁的自动化生产线所组装，为相隔十多年后重回美国组装之苹果公司电脑产品[4]。
2017年推出的iMac Pro属台式一体机产品，并不属于严格意义上的Mac Pro产品线。
2019年6月3日，苹果在WWDC 2019大会上推出第三代的Mac Pro，采用了不同于上一代的矩形体块设计，极度强调易拆卸和模块化，正面和背面开设有大量令人印象深刻的散热孔矩阵。该代机型最高支持28核英特尔Xeon处理器、1.5TB内存和4TB固态硬盘，并提供大量扩展接口。除了直立式版本，苹果公司也推出可锁在19吋标准机架、高度5U（22.225公分）的横式版本，可做为服务器或算图农场等用途。
2023年6月5日，苹果在WWDC 2023大会上宣布第三代Mac Pro正式改为采用苹果自研M2 Ultra处理器，同时英特尔处理器版本停产。[5]这次更新标志着Mac向Apple芯片迁移正式全面完成。
2026年3月26日，苹果正式宣布停产Mac Pro，并表示未来不会再推出相关硬体产品。[6]
